Road Works and Reinstatement of Verges

We understand that the works are on track to be completed by Easter.

A number of people have contacted the Parish Council to ask about re-instatement of verges.

Northern Powergrid are in discussion with RMBC landscape team and will be working with them to ensure this work is completed to a good standard.

Ward Councillors are involved in these discussions to provide guidance.

Balfour Beatty do have some staff community days that they have offered to the Parish Council.

This work will involve:

• Fitting new steps to the slide on the play area where they had started to rot away,
• Allotment Clearance work
• Placing some additional flooring material under the gate at the top of Spens Field onto Jackie’s Lane.
